About Mahnaz Nikka
Mahnaz Nikka is an Occupational Therapist with a Master of Occupational Therapy from Monash University and more than two decades of broader healthcare experience. Her occupational therapy experience spans community mental health, disability services, inpatient care and NDIS supports. Mahnaz provides functional capacity assessments, home and community assessments, and practical recommendations for assistive technology, daily living equipment and environmental modifications. She supports people with physical, cognitive and psychosocial needs to develop routines, strengthen daily living skills and participate in activities that matter to them. Her approach is person-centred, recovery-oriented, strengths-based and culturally responsive. She works collaboratively with participants, families, carers, support coordinators and allied health teams to develop practical strategies that support safety, choice and independence.
