Areas we can support
The focus of Counselling is tailored to the person’s age, circumstances, needs, and goals.
Counselling can help clients understand sources of worry or pressure, recognise patterns and develop practical coping strategies for daily life.
Support may focus on identifying emotions, communicating needs and developing safer, more effective ways to manage distress, frustration or overwhelm.
Counselling offers space to explore the emotional and practical impact of disability, changing support needs, identity and participation.
Support is paced around the individual and may help clients process bereavement, separation, change or other significant experiences of loss.
Counselling can support communication, boundaries, conflict resolution and a clearer understanding of patterns affecting relationships.
Parents and carers can explore challenges, strengthen communication and develop consistent, respectful responses to a child or young person’s needs.
Counselling may help clients and families explore emotions, experiences and unmet needs that may contribute to behavioural difficulties, alongside practical strategies for change.
Support may assist with changes involving school, employment, relationships, independence, health or living arrangements, with attention to coping and adjustment.
